Hi lovelies!

I’ve been feeling a little better but I’m still mostly hiding in bed, so I thought I’d force myself to get up by putting together some outfits under £50! They’re not all necessarily weather appropriate (considering how we’re in that awkward stage where it’s not quite spring!) but this is what I’ve gotten out of recent sales and thought I’d share them with you!

outfit 1:

I love the slogan sweater because I get to be warm and comfy and yet the cute Disney font and eye catching WHAT! makes it really interesting!

These jeans are my absolute favourite because they’re high waisted and ripped! I got them on sale at Urban Outfitters for £25 (and then another 10% student discount!) which was great because they’re Cheap Monday (which is, ironically, not very cheap). My shoes are super comfy and have these slight flatform thing going on, which gives me just the slightest bit of a height boost 🙂 I got them in Korea for around £10 so that’s a great bargain too!

I definitely think the statement necklace helped to dress things up a lot! I love this necklace because it’s really sturdy and chunky and yet not overwhelming.

Sweater – Pretty Little Thing £5

Jeans – Urban Outfitters £25

Shoes – Korea £10 (similar here)

Necklace – Lovely Wholesale £2.68

Total : £42.68

Outfit 2:

I’m so awkward in photos sigh… This outfit is for people who are still in denial about winter being over (i.e. me). I love sales because you can get things for such amazing prices and also because it forces you to be super creative! I bought the sweater because I loved the baby blue (even though it was a size 18 HAHA) so I’ve decided to wear it as a long sweater, which I didn’t have anyways. I did the same for the t-shirt, I wanted it to be a dress so I bought it in size 16! (though I’ll probably wear shorts/tights under it)

I got my knee high boots in Japan and don’t remember how much I paid for them, but I found a pair that we can use for budgeting purposes!

T-shirt – New Look £7.99

Long cardigan – New Look £13

Knee high boots – Japan £20 (similar here)

Total: £40.99

outfit 3:

Okay my camera spazzed out a bit when I was taking these photos. This outfit is for those of you who are fully embracing the incoming spring! This outfit could also easily be turned into a winter outfit with tights and a jacket (but that wouldn’t fit in the budget)

I got my shoes recently, they’re a bit taller than my usual shoes but I’m so in love with them?! I did have to order them one size up cos my size was out of stock at that point (its in stock now ughhhh) but they fit well so maybe buying a size up is a good idea?

Dress – Pretty Little Thing £9

Shoes – NaomiShu £29

Total: £38

Yay! So these are just a few outfits that won’t break the bank 🙂 Let me know what you think about this post and whether I should do more of these under £50 outfits!

Thanks for reading 🙂

Hi guys!

I’ve been down with a stomach bug as well as a super annoying cough, so I basically spent the whole weekend in bed either sleeping or online (window) shopping. Here are a couple of things I desperately want but have no money for/didn’t buy when I had the chance 🙁

1. h&m knitted jumper – £39.99

Okay this one I stupidly passed over when I saw it in London and have been crying in regret ever since. The blue really pops and its just so gorgeous and ughhh I really want it!! Especially since I’m cold and sick and unhappy. Statement jumpers are so great because you can just kind of slip them on with jeans or something simple and you’ll still look put together (or at least purposefully sloppy).

2. Adidas Superstar 2 – £65

Somehow I’m just really attracted to these shoes?? They go with EVERYTHING and I’ve been looking for a replacement after selling off both my Nike Thea and Roshes (you can check out my depop if you’d like to keep up with the things I sell btw!)

3. A two piece co-ord set

I’ve always felt that having a two piece set always makes you seem really put together, but I haven’t really found one that I’ve liked 🙁 If any of you know where i could find a nice one please let me know!

4. Mac Cinderella Collection

I don’t use make up very much but THE PACKAGING!!!!!!!! Obviously I’m an impulse buyer HAHA but I’m headed to Oxford this weekend so I *might* actually get something from the collection!

5. Triangl Bikini Penny Wanderlust – 79USD

I’ve been wanting this particular one forever, and while hiding under my blanket feeling miserable and stalking random fashion blogs, I saw a few reviews (from like YEARS ago but still) of triangl and it reminded me how much I really really wanted one???

Okay this was a really random list, and hopefully I’ll get a few more photos of myself up once I’ve gotten out of bed (probably this weekend in Oxford!!!)

Thanks for reading 🙂 Let me know if you know of any good places to get the stuff in my wishlist/similar things! I’d love to hear from you guys!

[insert cliched thought about how february passed way too fast]

Okay jokes, February did pass really fast for me honestly, with my birthday and Valentine’s Day (my first real one!) and flying home for Chinese New Year things were great. So I thought I’d share with you a couple of things that helped me through the month!

1. Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult

This book wrecked me more than it helped me through the month actually. Jodi Picoult is such a great author, I’ve always loved her books – there’s always something about them that seems to get to me and this one was no exception. Basically the book is about a 13 year old girl who gets the help of a disgraced psychic and an ex-police officer to find her mother who has been missing for 10 years. When I reached the end of the book, I had to sit in silence for about 15 minutes to process my emotions and thoughts. It was really good! There were also short stories released before the book, called ‘larger than life‘ and ‘where there’s smoke‘. I also just finished reading one of her older books ‘handle with care‘ and MY EMOTIONS.

2. Kokeshi eau de toilette

I’m not a big fan of perfumes but THIS THING SMELLS SO GOOD!!!! I got it for Christmas and I just started using it. It smells like home to me – blackcurrant, lychee, jasmine and orange blossoms. Plus, the bottle is so adorable!

3. Nature Republic face masks

My skin doesn’t do very well when it gets cold and dry, probably because I’m so used to hot and humid Singapore! I have a whole bunch of these masks, and they’ve really helped me keep me skin happy and hydrated. Its also made it a bit easier when I break out in rashes (which happens far too often).

4. Jasper Conran watch

If you knew me personally, you’d know 2 important things. 1) I don’t own a watch, 2) My hands and wrists are about the size of 9 year olds (I measured against my 9 year old cousin, his was bigger). BUT I couldn’t resist this watch! Not only does it stop me from constantly checking the time on my phone in class (thankfully no teacher has scolded me for it yet), it also doesn’t completely overwhelm my wrist. well kinda. It’s so gorgeous though!

5. Tobi Whirlwind Romance Top

While stalking some fashion bloggers, I came across this brand! I saw this top and I knew I just HAD to get it. They do 50% off your first purchase, which was great for me, except I had to pay £12 in customs charges as it came in from the states 🙁 I really love it though!

Let me know what you think about these items/what you’d like me to blog about next! Really excited about my warm welcome into the fashion blogsphere

till next time xx

Hi guys,

I wore this to school and since I promised I’d show y’all my colourful shirt from missguided, I thought I’d just post a quick ootd! (excuse the indoor photos, it was raining!)

Today was quite a lazy day, but I didn’t want to look like a COMPLETE slob, so I paired my nike sneakers and my tights with my colourful shirt to jazz things up a bit. My tights are actually furry on the inside which kept me really warm and happy all day! I also really love my shoes, which I bought in japan over Christmas break!

(I am totally queen of awkward pictures)

top : missguided

tights : primark

shoes : nike

that’s it for now guys, till next time 🙂

Missguided was offering an extra 40% off sale items so I did a bit of stress shopping over the weekend and I thought I’d show you guys! The RRP of all the items added up to 115 pounds before any discounts (including the sale discounts) but I paid 50.61! I feel super proud of myself hehe. I took really awkward photos and stuff but I’ll let you guys see and compare it to the photos on the website. I don’t know if the missguided sale is still on, but if so, be sure to check it out! I’m going to list the prices without the extra 40% because math, and also please excuse my grubby mirror hahaha

I don’t wear much pink, but I really liked the batwing! My sister also really loves this one so she’s probably going to keep it the next time I go home.

I’ve really been into burgundy recently (I bought another burgundy top from some US website which should be coming soon) and I love the puff sleeves because they’re unusual and quite cute! I’ll probably end up pairing this with a statement necklace and a patterned skirt or maybe even my ripped jeans like in the photo!

Don’t ask me why I bought shorts, I know it’s like 3 degrees outside but I couldn’t resist the cute lace hem! Plus I’ve been wanting one of these runner shorts for a while so what better time than during a sale? I’d pair this with a plain white t-shirt and a blazer or a leather jacket, depending on my mood.

I’ve been looking for a jumper dress for a while now, and though it’s a bit longer than I’d wanted (sale item, didn’t have UK 6 sigh) I think the colour is really cute and I’ll probably layer it over my colourful bohemian boyfriend shirt (I should be posting an outfit with that soon) to give it an extra pop of colour around the collar!

I love joggers! I’ve been wanting a pair of these for a while so I’m pretty happy with this purchase!!! Also I like that they’re not super fitting around my thighs (I get super insecure with that ugh)

To be honest, all of my friends who saw this on the website were like ‘No don’t you dare buy that it’s really ugly’ but when I put it on, I thought it looked pretty cute! (also I sent this photo to all of them and now they agree it’s pretty nice!!! I just really like tartan and I’ve also been trying to get a mesh dress so this is a perfect combination!

Okay that’s it for now! I can’t wait to style these pieces and show you guys! 🙂
