Freshers Week Outfit Ideas

Hi guys!

I know I haven’t posted in forever (I keep planning on it then keep forgetting to oops), so I guess there are a few life updates! I’ll be starting at UCL at the end of the month so it’s back to the UK for me!! I’m planning my outfits for freshers week parties so I thought I’d finally sit down and put something together – plus I could really use some help figuring out my outfit choices!

So here’s what I’ve gotten so far:

Dresses:

I feel like the most basic thing someone would wear to an event in the evening would probably be a trusty little black dress! Little cut outs or sheer sections make things cheeky without being too revealing (probably wouldn’t wear the middle one HAHA).

Rompers/Playsuits:

Rompers are a good way to look dressy without over-committing or looking too dressed up because the shorts always dress things down a little more. They also look effortlessly cute (although I can imagine they’d be a pain for bathroom breaks)

2 Piece Outfits:

I love pairing up separate pieces because you can dress each part up or down (plus, it means you can re-use parts of your outfit without repeating whole outfits!)

Shoes

Literally all my heels are black HAHA. I would go for ankle boots with jeans or a playsuit for a cute but not over the top look, while the plain black heels would just be to match any outfit. I have a pair of black and gold heels and I use them to give my outfit a little pop or make a little statement when I’m not doing much with the rest of my outfit.

Accessories:

I love wearing necklaces because they instantly dress up or change the vibe of an outfit. Since most of my clothes themselves aren’t really statement pieces, I would use necklaces like these if I wanted to dress up any of my outfits.

Okay so this was just a super small post I put together, I’m in Penang at the moment and got really great shots the last time i was here so hopefully I’ll have a good post up for you guys soon!

Promise I’ll start posting again regularly when I’m back in the UK!

Thanks for reading 🙂
