Hey there!

I’ve got a new review for you guys today! I’ve recently been in contact with Vape Shoreditch and they sent me a vape kit & some e-liquid to review for you guys! (Read till the end for an exclusive 90% discount off your first box!)

Vaping is supported by the UK government, NHS and cancer charities (NHS Stop Smoking Services proactively welcome anyone who wants to use these devices as part of their quit attempt!). Every smoker you convince to try vaping instead, you are helping to save lives. Vaping has been found to be up to 95% less harmful than smoking and has also been found to help smokers quit! (you can read the full UK Gov report here).

I know that this is something different but according to studies up to 50% of the population don’t know that e-cigarettes are less harmful than smoking so I feel that it’s important for people to be well informed so they can make good decisions! Moreover, the effects of smoking can be really devastating (I’ve personally lost loved ones to lung cancer) so I’m for anything that could help a smoker quit.
Okay but enough of the naggy ‘stop smoking kids’ lecture, let’s talk about Vape Shoreditch! The kit I got included a Shoreditch Two vape pen kit as well as three bottles of e-liquid.

I’ve never used/set up a vape pen before but the Shoreditch Two vape pen is really easy to set up and charge! Not only does it come with a certificate of inspection (cos you always wanna know your stuff’s working right), there’s a guide with really helpful diagrams to help you get started.

For those who’d like specifics, the Shoreditch Two is slimline and has a 380 mAh Battery (200 puffs), 1.5ml Tank and comes with a 1 Year Battery Warranty.

Now for the e-liquids! The e-liquid flavours come in three categories – tobacco, sweets and fruit, and I got one from each. I asked my friends (who are proper smokers, unlike me HAHA) to try these out so you could get a smoker’s point of view! I got all the liquids at 6mg nicotine strength (they also have them in 12mg and 18mg). Feedback on the peppermint chocolate is that it’s not too sweet and has a nice aftertaste (kind of like After Eight chocolates!)

Vape Shoreditch isn’t just an e-liquid store, it’s a monthly service. For £9.99 a month, you get 3 bottles posted to you via free 1st class delivery. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time and you can even change your delivery dates and orders whenever you want!

If you use the code ‘NICOLEO4954’ at checkout, you can try three bottles of e-liquid for just 99p including p&p!! (Register for your 99p box here).

So you’re looking for a different way to stop smoking, vaping is an option you could consider!

Happy Wednesday!

(This is a sponsored post!)

Hi there! Wow I’m going to be posting more than twice this week, this is such a great improvement from my sporadic posting last year!

This second post is going to be (part of) my Florida haul as well as everything else I did on the trip!

After Disneyworld, we spent a day and a half at the Sawgrass Mills outlets and bought A LOT. I got a little Furla cross body bag, and because Kate Spade was having a 60% off sale, I bought a bag, a little coin purse and earrings! IMG_1276

I also bought lots and lots of clothes but I’m a slob and actually haven’t fully unpacked so you’ll probably see me wearing the clothes soon (and I’ll mention that they’re from Florida!)

One other thing I HAVE to share with you right this moment is this gorgeous pair of BCBG heels! I’ve been wanting Valentino ones for a while, and it’s not so much that I can’t afford them as I’m unwilling to buy them until I can pay for them with my own money, rather than my parent’s. So when I saw these for like $80 or something, my mom and I immediately started pulling out boxes to find a pair in my size! And we did and I’m so so pleased!!

Okay so anyways, after all the theme parks and shopping we decided it was time to relax, so we drove to Miami and spent some time at South Beach!

The beach was gorgeous and there was an Imagine Dragons free concert on the beach!! We also got free bikes to cycle along Ocean Drive and it was just so relaxing and pleasant! (Plus I finally got a little bit of a tan)

For New Year’s Eve, we drove to Coral Gables (Miracle Mile shopping whoop whoop!) and had dinner at this really great cuban place.

(I look tall here!!!!!)

We flew back to Singapore after that and I got my hair done (missing my pink a little bit tbh) and yes I think we are now all caught up!

Happy Monday!

Happy Sunday!

I know this is way overdue but here’s part 1 of my Florida trip! I hadn’t seen my family in a couple of months so I was obviously pretty excited to see them when we met in Heathrow.

Our first full day in Orlando, we went to Universal Studios! We had fastpasses so we managed to do everything we wanted to do from both parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) in 1 day! #efficient

(Top & Shorts – Bangkok, Shoes – Adidas)

The very first thing we did was go to the Harry Potter section and go on all the rides (and get our lanyards! It was pretty cute cos I’m in Ravenclaw and my sister is in Gryffindor, and my parents were Hufflepuff & Slytherin).

Since the Harry Potter section was across both parks, we got to take the Hogwarts Express to travel between the two parks! I actually live right next to Kings Cross station in London so seeing the fake Kings Cross station (as well as other random British things that they decided to dump in the Harry Potter area) was pretty amusing! (Okay but on a more serious note I CAN’T BELIEVE ALAN RICKMAN IS DEAD I almost cried in class when I found out).

Next, we went to the Dr Seuss section of the Islands of Adventure park, where I basically went on every single kiddy ride you could think of (hey, who doesn’t love Dr Seuss?).

IMG_9866We also went to Marvel’s Superhero Island which was really cool & we got to go on a lot of the fun rides. We went on so many rides in 1 day that when we got back to the hotel that night we literally all fell asleep super fast HAHA.

The next day, we went and did a little outlet shopping. I’ll be doing a separate post on my Florida haul so keep your eyes peeled for that!

I’m basically a child when it comes to anything Disney. We spent 3 days going to the 4 parks but almost all my photos are from the Magic Kingdom haha.

We stayed at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel so we got ‘extra magic hours’ from 7-8am. On the first day (which was Christmas Eve!) I forced my family to wake up early so I could meet Ariel and go on the ride at 7am HAHA.

We went on 15 rides in the Magic Kingdom on the first day alone HAHA. We also spent time in Epcot that evening, where we went on Ellen’s energy adventure & a couple of other things, and got to walk around the world showcase!

On Christmas day, we spent some time at the Animal Kingdom & went on a safari where we got to see the animals really close up! Literally halfway through the safari a whole bunch of rhinos ran past us.

IMG_0090It was really pretty & our guide was really funny! I was also really impressed by Disney’s conservation efforts (you can learn more about Disney’s conservation fund here).

Where better to spend Christmas than the happiest place on Earth? We headed back to the Magical Kingdom for the rest of the day and managed to get on a couple more rides despite the park being at almost maximum capacity!

(Dress – Forever21 girls)

We barely made it into the park before it hit maximum capacity (it was only lunchtime!) so I was really excited when we finally got in! We had a really good dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern and I was just really happy to be spending time with my family on Christmas Day!

On the last day at Disneyworld, we went to Hollywood Studios, where I got to spazz out over Star Wars! I wore my r2d2 tshirt the entire day and even got to meet chewie!

We also got to go on the Star Tours ride which I really enjoyed! Not forgetting my inner 5 year old, we went for a Frozen sing-along show as well as the Little Mermaid puppet show!! Afterwards we went to Disney Springs where we got to shop exclusive Disney merchandise and we also watched the latest Star Wars movie!

Okay so I figure putting all the parks in one post made it a really long post already so the rest of my Florida trip will be in a separate post maybe tomorrow or Tuesday? On Wednesday I’ve also got an exciting little review for you guys so be sure to watch my blog over the next few days!

Have a great week!

Heya lovelies!

Have you ever obsessed over a brand to the point you wanted basically every single item on their website? Well that just happened to me and my current obsession is For Love & Lemons! I’ve been spending lots of time stalking their instagram & looking through their website so here are my favourite items from their current collection! (Hopefully I’ll magically have enough money to buy all of these soon…)

What’s your current favourite brand? Also, I’ve got a couple of exciting collaborations coming up so keep your eyes peeled!

Happy Wednesday 🙂

Hey there!

Hope everyone’s been having a good week! Billion Dollar Brows was kind enough to send me two of their brow kits to review and I’m excited to be sharing them with you! I’ve always had thick brows and never really bothered with drawing them, but I’m really in love with these products so I think I might start.

  1. Best Sellers Kit FullSizeRender 9The best seller’s kit has a collection of all the best products from Billion Dollar Brows. It includes a brow pencil, a dual sided highlighter/concealer pencil, a brush and brow gel. As a beginner (I’ve literally drawn my brows like twice), I found this kit pretty simple to use. The brow pencil is supposed to work with all hair colours and worked out really well on my dark brows. The pencil went on pretty smoothly which made it way easier than the last time I tried to draw my brows! The highlighter/concealer duo was great because it really helped to make my brows look more defined and the concealer was exactly right for my skin! The brow gel was great to help set the brows and they looked great the entire day, when I got home after an entire day of classes they were still looking great!
  2. 60 Seconds To Beautiful Brows Kit FullSizeRender 8The other kit I got to try out was the 60 seconds to beautiful brow kit. I’ve never used powder so when I first saw the brow powder I wasn’t sure what to do, but I must say, I love it even more than the pencil! The dual ended brow brush made the powder really easy to use and I felt a bit more in control with the powder. I’ve used the powder for two days now and I’m probably going to stick to it! Its really quick and easy and is great for when you’re in a rush but still want to look put together.

Here are swatches of the products (from top to bottom): highlighter, concealer, pencil, brow powder.

What’s a make up review without pictures of the actual product on? You’re going to have to excuse my selfie skills but here’s a picture of my brows with the 60 seconds to beautiful brows kit!

My brows already kind of have a shape but using the powder really helped to define them and give them a nicer shape without making them look over-drawn or too dark!

Here’s one with the best sellers kit!

Billion Dollar Brows products are now being sold at Boots and you can check out their full range of products here! I highly recommend both the kits (especially the 60 seconds to beautiful brows kit!) You can also check out their instagram for major brow goals!

Thanks for reading xx
